How we work

We’re on a mission to help everyone flourish. To do that, we must first survive the transition into an AI-dominated society. This isn’t going to be easy. Are you up for the challenge?

We’re a non-traditional organization with a strong culture, a meaningful and profitable business model, great perks, and exceptional people. We serve all stakeholders, present and future, as efficiently and effectively as we can. We have no “employees” per se. Instead we have agentic individuals consciously collaborating with us to achieve our mission. Broadly speaking, we follow many principles from conscious capitalism, teal organizational theory, effective altruism, and rationality.

We also have a results-only work environment, collaborative strategic decision-making, open book management, an internally public team contributions dashboard, a strong focus on team member’s personal and professional growth, and adaptive compensation levels tied to contribution and value creation. 

We don’t endorse some standard hiring conventions, so expect our process to be different. To save your time and energy, we declare Crocker’s rules. Ask us anything.

Before you apply…

You are amazing! All conscious beings are. But that doesn’t necessarily mean working together would make sense. Please carefully read the job descriptions. If you’re excited by the opportunity and feel there might be a fit, please apply. We’ll try to make the process simple, fast, and rewarding for you. For many, we may be able to skip to a quick alignment and career coaching call within a few days of you applying. 

As a heads up, if you design and begin diligently executing your own UP, you will improve your odds of getting an offer from us. We eat our own dog food here. And it doesn’t hurt if you can propose ways we might improve (and explain how you might help us enact those improvements) and be real when communicating with us. No business-speak necessary.

We’re always looking for capable, value-aligned people (especially those with skill in growth marketing, design, operations, research, etc.).
